Sun Club

The Sun Club comfort protection plan saves homeowners throughout the Houston area money on energy, maintenance and repairs, while improving system performance and extending equipment lifespan.  Our trusted and experienced technicians will proactively schedule 2 preventative maintenance calls per year.  The first planned visit in the spring to ensure that your cooling system is ready for the hot and humid summer.  The second planned visit for the year will be scheduled for the fall to verify that your heating system is operating safely before the first cold front arrives.  Additionally, Sun Club members enjoy the following benefits as perks to maintaining your system twice per year:
1.  10% discount on all service repair parts and Freon charges
2.  5% discount on all new equipment installations, up to a $1,000 value
3.  Upgrade to a 1 to 3 year parts and labor warranty on air conditioning repairs
4.  Priority response emergency A/C service.
5.  Preferred scheduling for all other air conditioning repairs and maintenance
6.  Maintains validity of equipment manufacturer’s warranties.

  • Check gas valve operation
  • Check for proper temperature rise & high limit operation

Seasonal Evaluation & Precision Tune-Up

Spring A/C Inspection & Tune-Up
  • Confirm system operation, cycle through thermostat; ensure the equipment is operating from the thermostat
  • Install gauges and check refrigerant level, operating pressure and temperatures
  • Measure superheat and subcooling and adjust if necessary to fine-tune the refrigerant charge for optimal cooling
  • Check expansion valve and coil temperatures
  • Inspect refrigerant connections and search for major oil or refrigerant leaks visually
  • Clean the condenser coil
  • Inspect start and run capacitors for bulges, rusting or leaks
  • Safety test all controls and relays for proper operation
  • Inspect tension and condition of blower belts; Adjust blower speed if necessary on direct drive blowers
  • Lubricate all motors and moving parts as required
  • Test operation and condition of compressor contacts
  • Inspect and safety test all wiring and connections
  • Check voltage and amperage of motors; Test for worn bearings
